Get ready to celebrate in style! Mark your calendars for the Guild’s 50th Annual Graduate Research Symposium! This year, we’re commemorating 50 years of the Guild’s unwavering financial support of the Biomedical Sciences Graduate Student Competition—truly a milestone event!
Join us for a festive buffet luncheon, hosted by the UF College of Medicine’s Graduate Research in Biomedical Sciences faculty and staff on April 16th at 11:30 am in the Harrell Medical Education Building, 1104 Newell Drive, where we’ll mingle and connect with students and faculty. Following lunch and installation of 2025-26 Guild officers, we will dive into an afternoon of groundbreaking research presentations.
In honor of our golden anniversary, kindly consider wearing gold attire or gold jewelry to help us sparkle as we celebrate 50 years of innovation, collaboration, and excellence! Here is the schedule and you are welcome to attend as much or as little of the day’s activities as you wish:
11:30 to 12:30: Buffet lunch followed by UF Medical Guild 2025-26 Officer Installation
12:30 to 1:00: Guild members mingle in lobby while room is reset
1:00 – 3:00: Symposium research presentations by 8 students
3:00 – 4:00: Judging of symposium research presentations
4:00 – 5:00 : Reception and awards announcements
