As we continue to build connections of service and care in our community, we extend our sincere thanks to everyone who attended the Special Projects Grant Symposium on October 16. We also gratefully acknowledge those who volunteer their time at The Gift Stop, which provides funding for many important UF Health projects.
While you carry on this meaningful work, we invite you to consider supporting Guild philanthropy through the Guild Gives Campaign. Donations to this campaign help fund community projects and are essential to sustaining our philanthropic efforts.
Impact of Your Generosity
Last year, 47 members donated more than $15,000, the highest total ever given to this cause. Your support helped fund:
- Dental care outreach for individuals who are homeless or uninsured through Street Medicine and WeCare
- Dental services for children and adults with developmental and behavioral disabilities through UFCOD and The ARC
Many families face the need for general anesthesia for routine dental procedures. Guild funding helps reduce this burden by supporting safe, compassionate, and accessible dental care for individuals with special health care needs.
In addition, your donations supported:
- Pace Center for Girls, providing healthy, nutritious meal options beyond standard cafeteria food
- Elder Options, supplying essential health resources—such as glucose monitors and blood pressure monitors—to support wellness for low‑income seniors
We are proud to continue partnering for good in Alachua County.

Please watch for your donation letter arriving in early November.
- Donations received between November 1 and February 28, 2025 will be recognized in the April 2025 UPDATE
- Donations received after this period are still gratefully accepted and appreciated
