Through the dedication of our members, we have made a meaningful impact on UF Health, local nonprofits, and the broader Gainesville community. I am deeply grateful for the countless hours our members have devoted, whether organizing and attending meetings, serving in board leadership positions or volunteering their time at The Gift Stop. Each contribution—no matter the size—has played a crucial role in advancing our mission and supporting those in need.
An important milestone in the Guild’s philanthropic journey this year has been the complete funding of six distinct endowments. Collectively, these endowments are nearing a total value of $1 million, demonstrating both the scale and sustainability of the Guild’s support for its chosen causes. From providing essential resources to patients and their families, to championing innovative educational initiatives, our work has truly transformed lives. The friendships formed through our monthly meetings, interest groups, and special gatherings have enriched our experience and fostered a strong sense of community among our members.
As we reflect on our accomplishments and enter the holiday season, I am thankful for our members and inspired by the generosity and passion that define our Guild. Thank you for your ongoing support and commitment to our mission. Together, we will continue to make a lasting difference—uplifting UF Health, empowering local organizations, and strengthening the bonds of fellowship that unite us all.
