The Gift Stop

The Valentine’s Day event was a hit! And only made possible through extensive volunteer coordination and partnership with Lori’s Gifts. Volunteers helped with planning, assembling gift bags, arranging flowers, and setting up the Atrium, all contributing to a smooth and festive two‑day sale. Popular items included traditional Valentine gifts like chocolates, balloons, stuffed animals, floral arrangements, as well as non‑traditional high‑demand items such as Apple products and Gator merchandise. The Guild expresses gratitude to all volunteers and Lori’s staff for making one of the year’s major fundraising events a success. Audited totals will appear in the April newsletter.

Volunteers continue to play an important role, from preparing gift bags to helping during the event. Volunteering offers personal rewards and helps support the Guild’s philanthropic work for UF Health—volunteers generated $80.79 per hour in 2025.
