The 2025 Holiday Event hosted by The Gift Stop took place in the Atrium and three shops on December 8-9. The event saw high demand, with customers lining up early for popular electronics and gifts, many of which sold out and were quickly restocked. The event required extensive planning and teamwork from Lori’s Gifts partners, board members, volunteers, corporate staff, and vendors. The two-day event achieved unaudited sales of $202,956, marking a significant increase over the previous year. Organizers expressed gratitude to all who contributed to its success and are now looking forward to Valentine’s Day.
Charitable Contributions: Profits from The Gift Stop benefit Shands Teaching Hospital and Clinics, Shands Auxiliary, and the UF Medical Guild. The amount awarded to each group depends on volunteer hours logged, with more hours resulting in a greater share for UF Health projects.
