We are thrilled to share that UF Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute (OSMI) has successfully purchased and received our new leg press machine, funded through our recent UF Medical Guild Special Projects grant submission. The equipment is not only stunning in design, but our patients are already benefiting from the added comfort it provides.
Thanks to favorable pricing, we were able to acquire the leg press for less than the original quote. The remaining funds will be used to enhance our lower body strength training options, including the addition of a safety squat barbell (SSB). This innovative tool makes squat-style training accessible for individuals with shoulder impairments and will be a great complement to our new leg press machine.
