Holiday Event & Shopping: The Gift Stop is hosting a holiday event on December 8-9 in the Atrium and all three shops, with continuous hours from 6 AM on December 8th to 5 PM on December 9th. A wide variety of gifts will be available, including fragrances, electronics (MacBook Air/Pro, Apple Watches, Xbox Series S, PS5 Slim, JVC Smart TV, Apple AirPods), UF Gator apparel, jewelry, chocolates, skincare sets, and more. There are gifts suitable for everyone—sports fans, children, foodies, and tech enthusiasts.
Annual Meeting & Volunteer Luncheon: The Annual Gift Stop Meeting and Volunteer Luncheon is scheduled for November 18th at Hotel Eleo. The event celebrates volunteers and staff, and the treasurer will present the organization’s financial status.
Charitable Contributions: Profits from The Gift Stop benefit Shands Teaching Hospital and Clinics, Shands Auxiliary, and the UF Medical Guild. The amount awarded to each group depends on volunteer hours logged, with more hours resulting in a greater share for UF Health projects. Exact figures will be announced in January.
