The October Rowdy Readers meeting featured a discussion of “The Situation Room” by George Stephanopoulos, which offered a historical overview of the room’s role in national security and highlighted the dedication of its staff. The group has selected their reading list for 2026 and invites members to vote on their choices by November 2. There will be no meeting in November. The next meeting is scheduled for December 4 at 11 AM at Marjorie Weiner’s home, where “The Kamogawa Food Detectives” by Hisashi Kashiwai will be discussed. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP, and a special Japanese dish will be served
