ElderCare of Alachua County extends its heartfelt gratitude to the UF Medical Guild for their generous grant awarded to Al’z Place. This funding has enabled the addition of therapeutic seating, significantly enhancing both the comfort and safety of adult day care clients who are living with memory impairments. In recognition of this impactful contribution, a Certificate of Appreciation has been presented to the UF Medical Guild as a token of our deep appreciation.
The introduction of therapeutic seating not only improves the day-to-day experience for our clients but also encourages greater participation in wellness activities. This upgrade plays an important role in reducing feelings of isolation and minimizing physical strain, thereby supporting the overall well-being of those we serve.
